I love a pretty kitchen! I admit, boiling eggs and flipping pancakes aren’t real cooking. Still, it hasn’t stopped me from making it my favorite hang-out area. I read and chat with friends in my kitchen. I haven’t utilized it as I should with my stove accumulating dust and my cupboards empty, but I’m proud of the fact that I have a nice-looking kitchen where I can also entertain guests.

My kitchen has decorating items that make up for its lost functionality. So what if I don’t ever cook a decent meal? I eat my take-outs right there and enjoy just the same. It boasts of stylish stools, clean counter, fridge with my unpredictable choice of foods, a brightly-colored mat for my stove, and an earth-colored rug for my kitchen table and chairs. With this, I have certainly not neglected my kitchen as I did with my cooking skills.
